In Praise of Summer!

Andrew loves being outside! He is becoming quite a little waterbug! I took him to the wading pool at the Y one day last week, and he loved it so much I didn't even get a chance to take his picture. He walked around and around in the pool the whole time. He wouldn't stay out of the water (it is so shallow he can get in and out by himself). It does get up to 1'9", and he fell backward a couple of times and was completely submerged. I grabbed him immediately, of course, and he popped right up, caught his breath, and just kept on playing! Today I finally got a chance at home to get some good pics to share. This is the little pool Grandma Derr gave him for his first birthday. Our little routine has become: Swim and play, have a popsicle, swim and play some more!
